One Fighting Championship will return to the Philippines on Dec. 6 with a featherweight title rematch, when Koji Oishi puts his title on the line against Honorio Banario in the One FC 13 headliner.

The event takes place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila and will also showcase URCC welterweight titlist Eduard Folayang, who looks to rebound from consecutive defeats against fellow Filipino Geje Eustaquio. Additionally, Filipina boxer Jujeath Nagaowa will make her promotional debut at the event, though her opponent has not yet been announced. The evening’s main draw airs via online pay-per-view at onefc.livesport.tv, while the preliminary card streams live and free immediately prior on Sherdog.com.

Oishi became the One FC featherweight titlist this past May by knocking out Banario at One FC 9, weathering a first-round storm from “The Rock” before catching him flush with a counter right hand that ended the fight in round two. The victory marked the seventh knockout for the Japanese veteran, who began his career 13 years ago at UFC 25.

Twelve years younger than his opponent, Banario, 24, saw a two-fight winning streak snapped by Oishi. The Filipino became the 159-pound URCC champion in 2011 and then captured the inaugural One FC featherweight title this past February by stopping Eric Kelly in the fourth round at One FC 7.
