FORT CAMPBELL – Tim Kennedy got exactly the type of win he was hoping for in front of his “home” troops.
Kennedy (17-4 MMA, 2-0 UFC) stopped Rafael Natal (17-5-1 MMA, 5-3-1 UFC) with a massive first-round knockout courtesy of a left hand. The victory came in the main event of “UFC Fight Night 31: Fight for the Troops 3,” which aired on FOX Sports 1 from the base at Fort Campbell in Kentucky. Kennedy was a 10-year Army veteran, and his win electrified the troops in attendance on the base.
